Michael J. Riolo, Esq., is an associate attorney with Littman Krooks LLP. He focuses his practice on estate and tax planning, estate administration, asset protection planning and real estate.
Michael received his J.D. from Pace University School of Law and his B.A. from Boston College. He is admitted to practice in New York.
Michael most recently worked as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney where he managed a portfolio of assets for individuals and business entities. Prior to that he worked at a law firm in Westchester County , where he counseled individuals and families on estate and tax planning, estate administration and asset protection planning matters.
During law school, Michael worked as a student attorney for John Jay Legal Services at the Pace Investor Rights Clinic where he represented individuals in securities arbitrations and mediations before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Dispute Resolution. He also was a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Susan M. Cacace at the Westchester County Court where he drafted decisions for Article 78 proceedings and researched statutes and case law regarding issues challenging the actions of state government agencies and local administrative boards involving a variety of legal issues including land use and adequacy of due process.
Michael is an active member in the local bar associations and he is currently a board member and the Tax Committee Chair for the Westchester Women’s Bar Association.
Michael is also a Series 7 General Securities Registered Representative and a Series 66 Uniform Securities Agent and Investment Advisor Representative.
