Ellyn S. Kravitz is a partner in the law firm of Littman Krooks LLP, with offices in New York City, White Plains and Fishkill. She specializes in elder law, estate planning, estate administration and special needs planning. She counsels clients including families of children with disabilities on all matters pertaining to life and estate planning. She is an "advocate" concerning issues affecting children and adults with disabilities and our senior population.

Ellyn is certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. Ellyn is a member of the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations. Ellyn is a member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association Elder Law Section and chairs the Membership Committee. She was the former co-chair of the estate and tax committee and the former chair of the Legal Education Committee and Health Care Committee of the New York State Bar Association Elder Law Section. She is a member and former co-chair of the Legal Advisory Board of the Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation. She is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of New York. 

Ellyn serves on the legal advisory committee of the Evelyn Frank Legal Resources Program of Selfhelp Community Services, Inc. She was an adjunct instructor and faculty member of the Paralegal Studies Program at Queens College Contining Education Program. She is an adjunct professor at New York University and teaches courses on elder law.

Ellyn is a frequent presenter to both consumer and professional groups. She has provided input into state and national programs addressing legal, financial and other related matters involving persons with disabilities and our senior population.

Ellyn also serves on the Benefit Committee of the Kellner Family Pediatric Liver Disease Foundation. 

Ellyn received her Juris Doctor degree from the New England School of Law and her LLM. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
