Today, there are some 57 million disabled persons in America. That number will only grow tomorrow. To serve this audience, the number of special needs trusts has doubled in the past five years. Advisors who know how to arrange special needs trusts for their clients are profiting handsomely. Those who do not, are losing countless assets to manage. A recent study from Metlife is revealing. It showed that 69% of families are concerned about providing lifetime care for their dependents with special needs. Yet only 12% of them had set up a special needs trust. In fact, it’s surprising what many families with a special needs child don’t know. By inheriting a share of the parents’ assets, the disabled child will forever lose government benefits like group housing, vocational training and Medicaid.

This special webinar will offer practical advice on how to become an expert on the use of special needs trusts. Plus, learn how to structure a special child’s legacy as a special needs trust, to ensure he or she will have access to critical government support programs for the remainder of his life.

The special needs trust will provide income for the disabled one’s future medical expenses, while also keeping him eligible for Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Medicaid, and other government programs.

The Wealth Advisor Magazine and Capital First Trust will present an informative 1-hour webinar titled: Building Your Practice with Special Needs Trusts – A Webinar for Advisors Serving Clients with Disabled Loved Ones

Attendees will learn:

  • How to provide security with jeopardizing government benefits
  • Understanding the Special Needs Trust
  • Planning for Special Needs Children: Where to Start
