The life of an adult with developmental disabilities (I/DD) is characterized by a significant transition from schooling through adulthood. The speakers will discuss various resources available to help individuals with I/DD and their families navigate quality of life issues including government benefit programs, health insurance coverage, and financial issues. The collaboration of attorneys and non-attorney professionals combine to provide a comprehensive plan that goes beyond just legal documents. Whatever the topic, the session should be designed to challenge and inspire through interactive, teaching techniques so that participants can apply information to specific client and drafting situations upon their return to their office.

Bernard A. Krooks J.D., CPA, LLM (in taxation), CELA, AEP® (Distinguished), Amy C. O’Hara, CELA, & Sandra Rosenbaum, Educational Advocate to speak.
