Melissa L. Steinberg

Melissa L. Steinberg, Esq. is an attorney admitted in the State of New York. She focuses her practice on Elder Law, Special Needs Planning, and Guardianships.

Prior to joining Littman Krooks, Ms. Steinberg was Deputy Director of Legal Services at Project Guardianship, and served as Court-appointed guardian, guardian ad litem, court evaluator, attorney, and supplemental needs trustee for guardianship matters for more than 10 years. She trained in alternative dispute resolution with experience handling complex mediations and arbitrations.

Ms. Steinberg is a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Committee on Disability Rights, as well as the Elder Law & Special Needs Section’s Guardianship, Mental Health, and Elder Abuse Committees.

Ms. Steinberg received her Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College.
