Littman Krooks is proud to sponsor a free workshop for parents, clinicians and school personnel on the adverse effects of complex childhood trauma on learning and socialization of children and adolescents. The workshop will focus on the means of identification and remediation of trauma in the context of school family, and community.

Our experts, Boris Gindis, Ph.D., a licensed psychologist and Jennifer Griesbach, a licensed clinical social worker, practice and conduct research in the field of childhood trauma with a diverse population, such as internationally adopted children, victims of neglect /deprivation, abuse, and family violence. The parents of children who have suffered trauma may share their experiences as well. The workshop will concentrate on how to raise the awareness of childhood trauma and build effective trauma- informed and resilience-building remedial practices in our schools, mental health facilities, and families.
