Education professionals and parent activists will help parents learn how to be proactive in supporting their children’s academic journey. Presenters will also cover how parents of students with special needs can work with their school district while protecting their children’s’ rights (including information about the IDEA laws, alternative educational settings, IEP’s, etc.).
