If you’re unfamiliar with SEQA and how its Regional Offices actively assist parents and school districts alike, this interactive workshop will present an overview of how SEQA serves as a valuable resource for achieving positive results for student with disabilities. Beyond providing technical assistance and other help to parents, school district personnel, and private providers, SEQA investigates and resolves State Complaints. Participants will learn:

  • The ABCs of SEQA and how Regional Associates can help you
  • The benefits of special-education mediation
  • What to know about the State Complaint process and how it works from start to finish
  • How SEQA Supports Districts and Families, from Technical Assistance to State Complaints
  • Additional resources for preschool and school-age special education
